Parano1d's verification thesis — and the emission correction
Every block carries a recursive proof that the whole state is valid, so a node verifies without replaying history from genesis. That is the thesis. The correction that matters to miners: NOID's reward does not stop — it steps down to a perpetual 1 NOID tail, meaning >100% first-year inflation on the v2 curve.
Verify without replaying the world
Ignotus Nemo's complaint about modern chains is 'rented verification': as nodes get heavy, people outsource truth to API providers and explorers. Parano1d's answer is a chain where every block carries a recursive proof that the state transition — and all of history behind it — is valid. A new node verifies the latest proof instead of replaying from genesis; history can be pruned because proof, not data, carries the guarantee.
The founder's first attempt, Specter, had an architectural flaw. It was archived publicly rather than quietly buried — and Parano1d is the rewrite: clean mainnet genesis on 21 August 2026 (the first launch attempt was stopped and restarted), proof-native contracts from block 210,537, block time moved 20 s → 30 s.
Not a privacy coin
A correction that keeps being missed: Parano1d hides spending secrets — it does not anonymize anything. Transactions and contract data are publicly readable; pruning your copy of history does not delete the copies others saved. It is a proof-native post-quantum chain, full stop. The v2 contracts are deliberately small: bounded integers, no loops, no cross-contract calls — the size of 'financial agreements between people' (refunds, delegated budgets, staged payouts), with every execution inside the block proof.
The emission correction miners should read twice
Earlier notes (ours included) described NOID's reward schedule as stepping down to 1 NOID and 'stopping'. Half right. The v2 schedule is height-based — 16 NOID per block, stepping down each 1,051,200 blocks (365 days) — and its floor is a perpetual tail of 1 NOID per block. Emission never stops.
Under a curve this steep, churn-mining — mine and sell — is not disloyalty, it is arithmetic. The process signals cut the other way: an early bug bounty, a same-height difficulty race fixed in v2.0.1 from a miner's own data and credited in the release notes. The tracked-set summary: a verification thesis worth taking seriously, priced with a first-year emission curve that demands you take the dilution seriously too.
