DragonX DRGX
The world's first CPU-mineable zk-SNARKs chain — Zcash-protocol privacy (z2z shielded-by-default, Sietch, 93% of supply shielded, anonset 1.1M) on RandomX at 36-second blocks. 21M cap, no premine, no dev tax.
About DragonX
sources: official materials · verified 2026-10-13DragonX is a Hush Arrakis Chain: a Zcash-protocol cryptocurrency where every transaction is shielded by default — z2z is enforced at consensus level (sends to transparent addresses are rejected), Sietch pads network-level metadata, and 93.4% of all supply sits in shielded pools with an anonymity set over 1.1 million. Mining is CPU-only by design: RandomX at 36-second blocks, mineable in the GUI wallet (ObsidianDragon) or via the standalone pre-configured pool miner. Fair-launch rules are verifiable on-chain: 3 DRGX per block flat since genesis with no premine (height x 3 reproduces total supply to within rounding), no dev tax and no tail emission toward the 21M cap. The whole stack — node, wallets (full GUI with built-in encrypted chat, lite, Android), miner, explorer, pool — is open-source on the project's self-hosted Gitea. The first halving (3 -> 1.5 DRGX) arrives when supply crosses 10.5M, derived to land around 2026-12-11.

miner: Pool Miner v6.25.3 (pre-configured) or ObsidianDragon GUI- 1
# easiest: download Pool Miner v6.25.3 from dragonx.is — pre-configured to the official pool, no wallet needed for mining
↳ alternatively mine inside the ObsidianDragon full-node GUI wallet
- 2
# advanced: build drg-xmrig (xmrig fork) from git.dragonx.is/DragonX/drg-xmrig
↳ official pool: fee 1% (solo 3%), min payout 0.1 DRGX
Pitfalls we hit
- Privacy usage is real and measured: 93.4% of supply shielded, anonset 1.12M, z2z enforced; supply audit closes (height × 3 = supply) — the fair-launch claims are verifiable.
- The project refuses marketing on principle — strong self-hosted stack (Gitea, explorer, pool, wallets) with near-zero outside visibility. Refusing hype is not the same as refusing to exist.

sensors, not shills — verify before actingRisks
Single-pool chain: the official pool carries ~100% of network hashrate (pool 1.951 MH/s vs network 1.950 MH/s) — the project-operated pool is the block production; its downtime stops block discovery.
Micro-cap ($888k) on a no-KYC exchange stack (NonKYC/SafeTrade/WikaEX) — thin books, listing fragility.
Privacy usage is real and measured: 93.4% of supply shielded, anonset 1.12M, z2z enforced; supply audit closes (height × 3 = supply) — the fair-launch claims are verifiable.
51% attack is one cloud rental away: network hashrate ~2 MH/s of RandomX is reproducible with rented EPYC CPU fleets on AWS/Azure — irrelevant while the cap is tiny, but the shield flips the moment price moves.
MiCA/AECA wall: shielded-by-design chains cannot satisfy EU Travel Rule mechanics, so EU-regulated venues cannot list DRGX — the liquidity ceiling is structural, not sentimental.
No tail emission: after the halvings grind the 3→1.5 reward down, long-term security budget depends entirely on fee activity on a chain whose throughput is deliberately tiny.
The project refuses marketing on principle — strong self-hosted stack (Gitea, explorer, pool, wallets) with near-zero outside visibility. Refusing hype is not the same as refusing to exist.
